# House Viewer

3D models of Ted Peters Construction houses, built with Claude. One shared engine, one data file per house.

| House | What it is |
|---|---|
| `houses/1351-leighton/` | As-built exterior of 1351 Leighton St., from the plan sheets |
| `houses/duplex-36x30/` | New design: 36' × 30' duplex, exterior and interior, floor plans and cutaways |
| `houses/leighton-dodd/` | First pass: corner lot at Leighton & Dodd, front faces west; starts from 1351's assumptions |

**To look at a house:** open its `index.html` in Chrome or Safari. It needs an internet connection the
first time, to load three.js. Under *View*, pick an elevation, a ¾ view, a floor plan or a cutaway.

**To keep working in Claude Code:** open this folder. Claude reads `CLAUDE.md` automatically. It describes
the engine, the house data model, the conventions, and how Claude checks its own work.

**To start a new house:** tell Claude the brief (size, stories, rooms, roof, finishes) or drop plan PDFs in
`houses/<slug>/plans/`. Claude writes `houses/<slug>/house.js` and a `SPEC.md` that lists every assumption.

**To publish one as a claude.ai artifact:** `.venv/bin/python tools/bundle.py --all` writes a single
self-contained file per house into `dist/`.

`houses/1351-leighton/index.original.html` is the original single-file viewer from before the engine was
split out, kept for reference.
